- Well the problem that happened with your shoe usually occurs rarely with our shoes, and if I discover such a problem in a 10, 20, 100, or even 1000 pair of shoes in a 3000 pair batch, I would rest assured and say that’s great since the percentage is negligible. Quick analysis of this dude’s way of thinking: 1. He ignored the customers and didn’t even bother to welcome them when they entered the shop while he was talking on the phone. 2. He finished the phone call and started his discussions with a worker about a wall in the shop, without even paying mind or giving any kind of attention to the customers who were still sitting down and waiting. 3. The last percentage he told the lady about: 1000 of 3000 = 33.33% isn’t even close to the level of defects in a 2 sigma! I wouldn’t really expect such an entrepreneur to set his mentality on applying the 6 sigma on his business processes, or conducting successful promotion campaigns, but I cannot figure out how this store was famous when it fails currently in a highly competitive market to fulfill the basic requirements of a business success: customer satisfaction.

In a retailer shoe store; the shopkeeper and unfortunately owner, was talking to a lady on the phone and it was obvious from his sarcastic voice tone that he was making fun of her:
