The 18 Tag - BEHIND THE WALLS

Wonders tagged me with the 18 tag and the six things, six bloggers have to be tagged and leave a comment for each (what a creative way to list the rules when you're busy). Frankly speaking it's been a century since I was 18, Allah yer7am hadeek el 2ayam ;) So I'm gonna be scratching parts of my memory that were already dumped. Or even most possibly improvising...

Here are the 6 things everybody should learn before they turn 18:

Learn how to cook few things, so if you are accepted in a university that is far away from mommy, you won't drive your room mate crazy the way my friend did about not eating mommy's fresh food and that mommy's food finished the last day of the week, what should I eat, bla bla bla :( 7amdillah I transferred the next year but she stood away from her mama's food ;)
Don't try very hard to get rid of pimples and acnes as Wonders said, I'm turning to 46 (according to Fadi's estimates :D) and the problem is recurring... All my before 18 efforts are gone with the wind, my face looks now like a mine field :P
Learn as much languages as you can, it's something I regret not doing when I had the skills in the young age back then, after 18, you won't have the time, the mood or the the capability to learn the way you used to before 18.
Don't make meeting the opposite gender the center of your concern when you go to univ. Trust me at this stage, most of them are idiots, plus this might distract you and block you from seeing the opportunities out there. At the same time don't be avoiding like me so you end up missing some chances (for instance a chemical engineer who's just one year older than you and drives a gorgeous 4X4, that turned into a modern mercedes this year :D).... Bottom Line stay within the limits.
Please don't start to train yourself to: over dress, over make up, over shoes, over laugh, or over do anything before 18 just to show the world that you exist... Wallah the world that notices you because of your look will forever see you and evaluate you on that bases...
Finally, try to have a very focused set of goals and a deifinite plan of what you really wanna become and work hard to implement it. Nothing can keep you away from your achieving your dreams, sky is the limit for those who wanna amount to something. Again as my Marketing Management teacher used to say: Do not be average, be distinguished... For me I didn't have a plan, kept improvising, and deteriorated quickly, actually we do go obsolete also like machines, cause better human brands, with better marketing skills emerge..
